From possible stampeding elephants on the Mexican plains to….well…pretty much the same thing over here in western Africa. On the chart today is a junior gold explorer with the name Volta Resources Inc. which I’m guessing they derived from the name of the river which is formed in central Ghana by the confluence or flowing together of the White Volta and the Black Volta and flowing about 467 km southwards through artificial Lake Volta.
This Volta however is striking it large in Ghana and Burkina Faso as you can see from the various highlights I’ve put on the chart..and yes…rivers do have enormous power. Looking at the volumes I’d say we’ve hit near record levels with Volta Resources. I’m pretty sure we’ve not made the record on largest volume a day cause that stands at something like 16 million or what not. But the days following the day we hit over 8 million shares add up to over 30 million in just 5 days. That is a whopping average of 6 million shares changing hands on a day.
Needless to say Volta Resources earns a blip on our radar screen! Quite a huge one at that!
Every good release was followed by heavy buying and large volumes. The interest is definitely there and has only increased by x-fold. Volta Resources Inc. is a prime example of where I would use the phrase ‘good results never walk alone‘.
I’ve known Volta from when it was trading in its early thirties to forties and have alerted Trendtrader to this stock. He was wise enough to make a purchase so he is currently riding this African oriented gold explorer.
Looking at all the financing they completed amongst which is a bought deal, I’d say they have plenty of money in the kitty to further explore their projects though I haven’t checked and seen the actual money. So, if you want to be sure, do call the company and ask them.
The results that started it all :
